Prof. dr. Dirk Buyens obtained his PhD in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Ghent University and holds an MBA degree from KU Leuven. He was a doctoral fellow at the IR Centre of the Graduate School of Management at the University of Minnesota (USA). Dirk is Professor of HRM and Partner of Vlerick Business School, where he is co-heading the Strategic Talent Management Centre. He is the former CEO and founder of Great Place to Work© Belgium. Both his academic contribution and his contribution to the world of HRM-practice has been awarded nationally and internationally. Dirk is an internationally recognized keynote speaker on Strategic Talent and Career Management topics.
