Prof. Dr. Marjan Doom is a veterinarian by training and conducted research in animal anatomy. Today, she is curator and director of the Ghent University Museum (GUM) & Botanical Garden, where she explores the intersections of science, art and society - with doubt, imagination and critical thinking at the core.
